Joo Ho Yeo
Fred is a junior from Pleasantville, New York pursuing a double major in Information Science and Applied Economics and Management. He has worked on 7 projects at CVC with VC partners including Envision, NEA, OpenView, and OTV. His professional experiences include time as a project manager for Morningstar in Australia and as a software engineer for a fintech company in New York. Outside of CVC, Fred enjoys interviewing entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurship@Dyson, playing tchoukball, and progressing on his quest to visit America's top pizza places.
Jay is a senior majoring in Computer Science. He is from Singapore and since joining CVC he has worked on projects with OTV, Openview Ventures, Taurus Ventures, Google Ventures (GV) and Cayuga Venture Fund. During his gap year, he headed recruitment for Shopback, a Series B eCommerce startup in Singapore. He also interned at Facebook as a software engineer in the summer of 2017. After graduation, Jay will be joining Freenome, an a16z/GV-funded early-stage cancer detection startup. In his free time, Jay enjoys learning about new technologies and is currently involved in research that applies deep learning to making sense of the protein interactome.
Archana is a senior in the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management concentrating in Entrepreneurship. She grew up in Jaipur, India. On campus she is the co-president of Forté Campus @ Cornell and is involved with the Dyson Undergraduate Council. Since she joined CVC 2 years ago, she has worked on projects for BVP, OTV, Taurus, KEC and Envision Ventures. She has previously interned at J.P. Morgan, Anthos Capital and EY. In her free time she likes to read, cook and watch TV.
Joo Ho is originally from Seoul, Korea and is currently a senior in the College of Engineering majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Operations Research and Management. He joined CVC in the Fall of 2013 as a freshman and has since led projects with GV, OTV, NEA, Envision Ventures, GGV Capital, and OpenView. Last summer, Joo Ho interned at Facebook, where he will be returning to as a software engineer post-graduation.
Robert is a senior majoring in Computer Science in the College of Arts and Sciences. Originally from the Northern Virginia area, Robert previously interned at Deloitte Consulting in NYC and plans to relocate there after graduation to continue to work for Deloitte Consulting. Since joining CVC in Spring 2015, Robert is now currently the longest continuously tenured member of CVC, working on projects such as Envision Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Cayuga Venture Fund. In his free time, Robert enjoys cooking, weightlifting, and learning about the newest innovations in the world of technology.
Adam is a senior who studied in Information Science in the College of Arts and Sciences and is now completing a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management during his fourth year at Cornell. He has been a member of Cornell Venture Capital since Fall 2015 and has worked on projects with GV, CoVenture, Envision Ventures, and Taurus Ventures. Last summer, Adam interned as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs. On campus, Adam is also Team Lead for Cornell AppDev, Cornell's iPhone App Development Project Team. Outside of work, Adam is an automotive and formula racing enthusiast and also enjoys mountain biking, swimming, hiking, and kayaking.
Siddant is a junior in the College of Arts & Sciences studying Computer Science with a Philosophy minor. He's from Kathmandu, Nepal, loves startup culture and has interned at startups including one in the music industry; he aspires to continue his career in product management after graduation. Siddant joined CVC in his fall sophomore year and is currently the project manager for the Envision team. He likes rock music and pretends to be a soccer pundit.
Adam is a senior from Armonk, NY majoring in Biometry and Statistics. Over the course of his undergraduate years, he has focused his studies on both genomics and finance. In a past life, Adam completed Cornell’s pre-medical curriculum. He joined CVC in Fall 2016 and has since worked on projects with Google Ventures, Cayuga Venture Fund, Omidyar Technology Ventures, Taurus Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, and GGV Capital. Last summer, Adam worked as a Summer Analyst at The Dedham Group, a boutique management and strategy consulting firm specializing in the life sciences industry, and he will be joining the firm full-time in New York City as an Analyst after graduation. He previously interned at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and has had several research experiences. Adam is a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees and enjoys music, comedy, and defying expectations.
Claire is a sophomore in the Dyson School concentrating in business analytics and finance. Originally from Edison, New Jersey, Claire is also the Co-President of Forté Campus at Cornell and treasurer for Cornell Club Tennis. Since joining CVC in Spring 2017, she has worked on 4 projects. Claire spent her summer working in the trade department of the American Consulate in Sydney, Australia and will be joining Deutsche Bank this summer as an investment banking intern. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, defending the Lakers, and attempting to snowboard.
Daniel is a Sophomore from Weston, CT and is majoring in Operations Research and Information Engineering. He joined CVC in the Fall of 2016 and has worked on projects with Cayuga Venture Fund, OpenView Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners. Aside from CVC, he is a member of Cornell Club Swimming and enjoys exploring the Ithaca area.
Josh is a junior from Neshanic Station, NJ and is majoring in Applied Economics and Management. Since joining CVC in Spring 2017, he has worked on projects with NEA, Envision Ventures, and OTV. His professional experiences include interning for KEC Ventures and 88ships, a boutique startup builder and strategic advisory platform. In his free time, Josh enjoys playing tennis, shooting, watching hockey, drinking boba tea, and driving circles around Fred Kauber on the highway.
Nikhil is from Poughkeepsie, NY and is a junior in the College of Engineering, majoring in Computer Science. He joined CVC in Spring 2017 and has since worked on projects with Cayuga Venture Funds, OpenView Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Envision Ventures. On campus, as a Cornell Rawlings Scholar, Nikhil conducts human-robot interaction research with Dr. Guy Hoffman. Last summer, Nikhil was an HRI research intern at Cornell Tech. In his spare time, Nikhil avidly follows football and is a fan of the New York Jets.
Mason is a sophomore double majoring in Government and Philosophy and minoring in Business. Born and raised in the Houston area, Mason joined CVC in the fall of 2016, and has worked on projects with Bessemer Venture Partners and Taurus Ventures. Along with CVC, Mason is involved with the Student Assembly and the Cornell Democrats. In his spare time, Mason loves to philosophize over coffee and go to museums.

Maitreyi is a sophomore majoring in Information Science, Systems, and Technology. She joined CVC in Fall 2016 and has worked on projects with Omidyar Technology Ventures, Envision Ventures, and OpenView Venture Partners. On campus, Maitreyi is also involved in the Cornell Consulting Group and Society of Women Engineers. This past summer, she interned at a financial consulting startup in Philadelphia, and in her free time, she enjoys dancing and watching documentaries.
David is a Sophomore from Scranton, PA and is majoring in Industrial and Labor Relations. He joined CVC in Spring 2017 and has since worked on projects for OpenView Partners and Omidyar Technology Ventures. The past summer he interned at Pierpoint Capital as a Summer Analyst. In his free time he enjoys music, playing squash, and reading philosophy.
Angela is a junior from Plainsboro, NJ majoring in Applied Economics and Management with prospective concentrations in Finance and Business Analytics. She joined CVC in the Spring of 2017 and has worked on projects with Omidyar Technology Ventures and Touchdown Ventures. Outside of CVC, Angela is part of The Cornell Daily Sun and CALS Ambassadors. In her free time, she enjoys running, taking naps, and eating brie with baguette.
Rishab is a freshman from the Princeton area intending to double major in information science and applied economics and management. Since joining CVC in the Fall of 2017, he has done work with Openview. Outside of CVC, Rishab is also involved on the CUAUV project team and a designer for Trippier, a travel application founded by MBA students. Some of his interests include cryptocurrencies, archery, and up-and-coming rappers.
Ally is a junior from Northern Michigan and in the School of Hotel Administration minoring in Real Estate and concentrating in Entrepreneurship. Since joining CVC fall of 2017 she has worked on 2 projects with OpenView Ventures and Omidyar Technology Ventures. Outside of CVC, Ally is the previous President of Female Leadership in Hospitality and in Phi Chi Theta Business Fraternity. She will be joining JPMorgan this summer as a Corporate Analyst Development Intern and is enjoying studying abroad in Madrid this semester.
Jeff is a sophomore double majoring in Computer Science and Government. Since joining CVC, he has worked on projects with GGV Capital and Bessemer Venture Partners. While currently living in Northern Virginia, last summer, Jeff was a Mortgage Banking Data Science Intern for Quicken Loans in his hometown, Detroit. He currently works for the Cornell-based startup Red Route. In his free time, Jeff enjoys watching Arsenal games, online shopping, and discussing political issues.
Shen is a Sophomore from Malaysia majoring in Hotel Administration with an intended double minor in Nutrition and Health and Information Science. Since joining CVC in Fall '17, she has worked on projects with GGV Capital and Touchdown Ventures. She serves as the President of Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) and Vantage Brand Consulting by HSMAI and is the Campus Manager for Elevate Meal Plan, a DC-based meal plan startup. Last summer, she worked at the consumer goods conglomerate Unilever as a Brand Management and E-Commerce Intern. Her professional experience includes starting Fresco Supper Club, working at Marriott Hotels & Resorts as a Marketing intern and at SaladStop! as a Marketing intern. In her free time, she loves to cook and bake, go on food adventures, dance (Flamenco), sing, snowboard and watch Chef’s Table and Suits.
Matt is a sophomore from Armonk, New York and plans on majoring in Computer Science in the School of Arts and Sciences. Since joining CVC in the Fall of 2017, he has had the opportunity to work on 2 projects with GGV Capital and Bessemer Venture Partners. In the summer or 2017, Matt was an iOS Development Intern at Adafruit Industries. Feel free to talk to Matt about Hip-Hop or Arsenal Football Club.
Levy is an Applied Economics and Management major from Brooklyn, New York. Since joining CVC, he has worked on projects with OTV and Envision Ventures. Last summer, Levy was an intern in BlackRock's M&A department. Outside of CVC, Levy's passions include competitive Latin dancing and black coffee.
